Economic Injury Disaster Loan Program Extended
The SBA is accepting new Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL) applications from all qualified small businesses, including agricultural businesses, and private nonprofit organizations. Businesses can apply online. The application deadline was extended to December 31, 2021.
The SBA’s EIDL program is designed to provide economic relief to businesses that are currently experiencing a temporary loss of revenue due to coronavirus. Funds can be used for working capital and normal operating expenses, such as the continuation of health care benefits, rent, utilities, fixed debt payments. Additionally, if your COVID-19 Economic Injury Disaster Loan was declined, you can request reconsideration within six months of the date of the decline letter. Include your application number and information required to overcome the reason for decline.
